Low Cost/Basic or More Expensive/High TechThis page will try to keep you up to date on our products! This site carries the slickest little GPS units in the industry (the Neo, V100 and the Swami) and the highest tech products yet designed (the Garmin G5, the Callaway uPro, Sonocaddie V300 and the OnPar). Our XV 2 is a mid-priced unit, but basically you have two options. You can look at everything in between, but these are your real options: 1. a basic, high quality unit that will give you the information that you really need at a touch of the finger, or 2. a high tech gizmo with elevated looks, many view options, color screen, yardages to everywhere and on and on. We have selected those two options for you; Low Price/Basic features, or Higher Price/Feature Rich units. For inexpensive quality you can't beat the Bushnell product, or the affordable Swami. But for bells and whistles the Garmin G5, Callaway uPro and the Fabulous OnPar systems are unbeatable. The products you will find on this site are top quality. Our laser rangefinders are all Bushnell models, because the Bushnell name is unchallenged as the best quality in rangefinding. The GPS units are Bushnell, Izzo, Callaway and Savant, because these companies have all found a niche that we believe is valuable to the golfing public. Likewise for your Bushnell Laser Rangefinders; We have the lower cost Medalist and the higher priced models including the Pinseeker 1600. We recommend Lasers for the perfectionist. They are accurate to a yard and easy to use. If a Laser rangefinder is what you want, read our recommendations below and choose the one that fits your needs and budget. Low price or High tech, the best of the best are on this site! Why should you buy a Swami 1500? The golfer who owns a Swami wants two things; low price and fast accurate yardage. At $79.95 this is a great buy. Why should you buy a Sonocaddie V100 GPS? Again this golfer wants simplicity, ease of use and low price. The Sonocaddie V100 has a lot of features that golfers like. If you want a low cost system with nice features, make sure to check this one out. Why should you buy a Bushnell Laser Rangefinder? The golfer who chooses a laser is the perfectionist. He wants the exact yardage to any point he can zero in on. Score is paramount to this golfer. Why should you buy a high feature GPS? You need to look at the Garmin Approach G5, Callaway uPro, and the OnPar Touch-Screen GPS. These units are so cool, that they deserve a second look. These are made for technology junkies and folks who prefer GPS over laser, but are very interested in a lot of information. With these high tech units you will get all of the information that you need. You really need to look at these units, even if you think better of it and buy one of the simpler, more affordable units. What is the difference between laser rangefinders? Each rangefinder has its own story and specs on the product pages, but the basic difference in laser rangefinders is magnification and slope determination. The Medalist has 4X magnification and the higher priced models have 7X magnification. This is a big difference, while all of our lasers have pinseeker which will always choose the pin instead of a background signal, the magnification is important for sure fast sightings. So we recommend the highest magnification that you can afford. The steadier your hand the lower magnification you can choose. The other huge difference is Slope Determination, which we offer on the Pinseeker 1600 and the V2 w/slope model. This feature is awfully cool; it allows for up hill and down hill and gives you affective yardage. This means that not only will you get the true distance you will get the distance the shot will play. This is great for hilly courses, because the affective yardage can be much less or more than the true yardage. This calculation is done for you and you choose the correct club everytime. The slope feature is very, very attractive.
